Run ZIP in → single print-ready vector PDF out, pages in order. Straight to KDP; Canva not required. Footer text (if present) is baked as a high-res strip.
Single-sided: binding is always the left edge, so gutter is added there only.
KDP minimum gutter grows with page count — roughly 0.375″ up to 150pp,
0.5″ to 300pp, 0.625″ to 500pp, 0.75″ beyond. Margin+gutter should clear it.
Scatter modules — random approved layouts across the run
Load a set from the Layout Editor. Each
page gets one approved layout by seed, and every slot picks a random interior from the styles
you enable below. Reproducible — same run, same pages.

Write-on text module — stamp a single Module Generator panel on every art page
Removes the Canva step for journal
interiors. The module brings its own white panel and outline, so it sits cleanly over
full-bleed art with the margins left colourable.
Flip-book rotor — spin a motif at the bottom fore-edge corner
One SVG, stamped on every art page,
rotated a little further each page. Riffle the book and it turns. Frame index comes from
position in the FINAL set, so culling can’t drop frames.
A W-wedge mandala looks identical every
360/W°, so one visual cycle is 360/W — not 360. Set this to the wedge value you
generated the rotor with, or the spin will read as several identical cycles.
Reverse direction (clockwise front→back)
Generate this in Mosaic Builder with the
same tile/fill settings as the cover and it will match the book it’s in. Centred on the
same point as the rotor.
White block behind it (keeps the art from running through)
Hairline outline around the block
Static — it never rotates, so the
motion happens inside a still frame. Mandalas overflow their viewBox by roughly 4% a side,
so allow a little padding or the outer ring will cross the edge.
Put it on the BLANK backs instead of the art pages
For colouring volumes where nothing should
touch the art. Needs “blank page after each design” on. The blanks are versos, so the
rotor mirrors automatically to the bottom-LEFT — that is the fore edge on that side, and
the corner a thumb actually riffles.
Art is scaled to FIT inside the frame (no cropping), so full-bleed
designs become contained. Set gap to 0 for art that touches the frame.
